City Hospice - Nicky Piper Visit

City Hospice in Cardiff offer palliative care in the community for people with life-limiting conditions. Here at Keen Insurance, we are long term supporters and have once again made a pledge, to support the Hospice’s fundraising efforts.
We were visited on Wednesday 21st February by Nicky Piper, at our office in Neath. Nicky, the renowned former super middle weight, and light heavyweight world class boxer has been the corporate relationship manager for the charity for the past 13 years. We have an excellent relationship with him and the charity and are humbled and proud to be able to contribute to their fundraising efforts on an ongoing basis. We were chuffed to be able to present him with a “very large” cheque!!
Nicky was the engaging gent he always is and joked with staff members, as well as expanding on the serious stuff; about the vital work carried out at the hospice for members of the community, whether referred by Velindre Cancer Centre, the University Hospital of Wales, or from their own GP’s.
